Bragg Memorial Stadium was the stage as some of Florida A&M’s top football prospects put their skills on full display during FAMU Pro Day 2025.

With NFL scouts in attendance, players took part in drills, measurements, and on-field workouts, hoping to impress and take the next step toward the league.

Among the standouts were offensive lineman Jalen Goss and wide receiver Jamari Gassett, who have spent weeks preparing for this moment.

For Jalen Goss, Pro Day was the culmination of months of hard work and discipline.

“It’s been a long week,” Goss said. “No breaks from training: speed work, agility, strength, conditioning. The focus has been on eating right, staying healthy, and using proper recovery techniques to make sure we’re at our best.”

At 6-foot-7, Goss said he used his size and footwork to prove to scouts that he has the versatility and strength to compete at the next level.

Jamari Gassett knows how quickly things can change in football and was locked in on making every second count.

“Four seconds could change your life forever,” Gassett said. “These last four hours could change my life forever. That’s all I’ve been thinking about—there’s no doubt in my mind that I’m ready.”

Known for his speed and explosiveness, Gassett said he is focused on showing off his route running, hands, and quickness in and out of breaks.

The work isn’t done just yet, as quarterback Daniel Richardson, cornerback Kendall Bohler, and tight end Jeremiah Pruitte will also have their opportunity to shine at Pro Day tomorrow.

Richardson, a SWAC standout, said he hopes to showcase his accuracy and decision-making, while Bohler said he looks to reinforce his status as a lockdown defensive back.

Pruitte, with his size and athleticism, is aiming to prove he can be a dynamic weapon in the passing game.

With the NFL Draft season in full swing, every rep, every drill, and every interview matters. For these Rattlers, Pro Day is more than just a workout. It’s their shot to prove they belong on football’s biggest stage.
